Philip O'Neill, PhD

PhilONeillPhDA University of Waterloo PhD in Combinatorics & Optimization, and a past Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Science at Dalhousie University, Philip is a professional mathematician. Since its inception he has designed and managed the software development of RiskLogik’s RiskOutLook®, an analytical tool for risk analysis that identifies and quantifies risks induced by complex dependency relationships. His three-decade career spans 12 years of international collaborative activity with NATO, NORAD and The Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP), an international organization that collaborates in defence scientific and technical information exchange, program harmonization and alignment and shared research activities for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. Between 1997 and 2001 Philip also served as a Senior Scientist in the Operational Research Division at Department of National Defence and is the author of major publications including Protecting Critical Infrastructure by Identifying Pathways of Exposure to Risk” in the Technology Innovation Management Review.
